My Approach
I am trained in the person-centred approach, a model of therapy that places the relationship at the heart of meaningful change.
I believe that when someone feels genuinely understood and accepted, growth often follows naturally.
In our sessions, I will take time to understand your unique perspective. I am not here to diagnose, label or fix you. Instead, I offer empathy, honesty and steady support while you explore your experiences in your own way.
Whether you are seeking a therapist for anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties or simply because something doesn’t feel right, our work will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
My approach is grounded in:
-
Empathy
-
Authenticity
-
Respect
-
Confidentiality
-
Collaboration
I aim to create a space where you feel able to speak freely, even about the things that feel difficult, confusing or uncomfortable. I believe that avoiding walking the difficult muddy paths of our past and present can leave us stuck, confused, worried or worse. Together we can explore these paths and offer some clarity to what has come before and what lies ahead.
I am fully insured for our work together and registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psycotherapists, working within their ethical framework to ensure you receive safe, professional, and confidential support.
