Counselling in Burgess Hill & Mid Sussex
Professional and compassionate support for anxiety, stress, depression or any challenges in your life.
Welcome
Hello and welcome, I’m Joe. A person-centred counsellor based in Burgess Hill offering counselling to adults in Mid Sussex.
I became a counsellor following my own lived experience of mental health struggles and life challenges. I know how isolating things can feel, and how powerful it can be to speak openly in a safe and understanding space.
As a therapist, I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you can explore whatever is going on for you, at your own pace.

My Approach
My approach is rooted in humanistic counselling. This means I take time to understand your individual experience rather than assuming or directing.
As a BACP registered therapist, I work with empathy, care and respect, offering a calm and safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. I won’t tell you what to do, instead, I work alongside you so you can find clarity and direction that feels right for you.

How I Can Help
We are all unique and everyone's experiences can be very different. You don’t need to have everything figured out. I can help you find yourself or where you want to be, here are a few of the things that we could work on together

Anxiety & Worry
Depression & Low Mood

Stress & Burnout

Feeling Stuck

Relationship Challenges
Identity & Self Worth
About Our Sessions
We can agree on a time that suits you for sessions, this tends to be weekly but bi-weekly sessions can be facilitated depending on availability.
In our sessions, you can talk about whatever feels most important to you. There is no set agenda, and no pressure to share more than you feel ready for. My role is to help you feel heard, understood and supported.
Counselling can be short-term or longer-term, depending on your needs. We can review things together as we go.
